The Boston Area MG Club was started by a small group of MG car enthusiasts and has grown to a current membership of over 90. The club sponsors many activities, including monthly meetings, drives, technical sessions and parties. We are a very social group and encourage participation.
General membership meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month. The meetings start at 7:00. Locations vary, but details will usually be posted here, and members can sign-up for email notices via our Yahoo Group.
For 2013 we have two car shows planned for downtown Boston, right between Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. What a place to show off your car! Because of the very small space available the number of cars is limited and all must be pre-registered and fully commit to attending the show. Download the info sheet for participants here. You can download the show flyer here.
Do people enjoy these shows? Check out this article about the second one in 2009.
Our annual car show for five years was in October at the Edaville Railroad in Carver, Massachusetts. The site offers a cranberry festival, rides for kids and craftspeople. Our last show was held October 11, 2008. You can see an image gallery from the 2008 event here.
Membership dues are $30.00 per year (includes a subscription to the British Marque). You do not have to own an MG to be a member. Come to a meeting to join, or use the "Join" link at the right.
Coming up May 3: Dyno Day at New England Dyno in Douglas MA.
It's the off season; no meetings scheduled this month.
You can read past meeting minutes here.

It was a picture-perfect day to drive along the seacoast and admire the ocean and "estate" along the way. Once we were up at Brit Bits, we took turns getting our cars put up on the lifts and being looked at. About half the cars were inspected and everyone learned a little something new about their LBC. We concluded with a catered lunch and then took off for our various homes and another beach front route. Kurt Steele provided some photos here. And some more from G.B. Lodge here.
